Governance
In order for DTCM to implement its vision and mission and perform its corporate role, it employs a governance system that spans the entire organisation and its professional associates through its quality and HSE programs, customer and employee values, and its systems and processes. Also, it issues legislation, instructions and policies governing the tourism industry in Dubai.
DTCM’s Quality Policy

We are fully committed to satisfying our customers’ requirements, and complying with all relevant laws and regulations in order to achieve our Vision and carry out our Mission.

To meet these commitments, we have implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) complying with the international standard ISO 9001:2000

In addition, we are committed to continually improving the effectiveness of our QMS, and have set relevant quality objectives, against which we monitor our performance. We monitor the performance of our business processes against the criteria of the Dubai Award for Government Excellence

This policy is communicated to all members of staff and is being displayed in selected locations throughout the DTCM offices.

QHSE Policy:
It is the policy of The Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing, Government of Dubai to operate an Integrated Management System in accordance with ISO9001:2008, ISO14001: 2004 and OHSAS18001: 2007. We are fully committed to satisfy our customers’ requirements, providing a safe and environmentally friendly workplace for employees, contractors, visitors and other interested parties and to comply with all relevant laws and regulations in order to achieve our Vision and carry out our Mission.
We are committed to continually improving our products and services, the effectiveness of our management system and both environmental, health and safety issues. We will use the management system as an improvement tool and have set relevant quality, health, safety & environmental objectives, against which we monitor our performance. We also monitor the performance of our business processes against the criteria of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme.
Environmental and safety issues are viewed as core business values and in this regard further objectives of the organisation are as follows:

Ensuring that risks are identified and controlled so that employees and others can be protected from danger.
