The Media Relations section is responsible for the dissemination of information to the media to create awareness about every aspect of Dubai, but with more emphasis on its business dynamism and enterprise and an all-appealing, year-round destination.
Its major responsibility is to prepare Press releases and features for publications. It assists media in researching and developing story ideas on tourism and commerce marketing-related topics. It works to develop means by which news and information about Dubai can be brought into the public domain through the media.
It is also responsible for the communication of the department’s corporate aims and objectives, exhibitions, road shows, events, missions and awards.
It organizes Press conferences, when deemed necessary, and maintains a proactive relation with the local, regional and international media professionals.
