Quality Assurance department is responsible for coordinating and championing the development, implementation and improvement of the effectiveness of the Quality
Management System at DTCM. This ensures continual improvement in order to enhance customer satisfaction by meeting and exceeding customer requirements.
The Quality Management System of the DTCM has been approved for the ISO 9001:2000 and is applicable to the promotion of tourism and commerce marketing, licensing and classification of hotels and hotel apartments, promotion of tourism facilities and activities, management of historical sites in the emirate of Dubai and the design and delivery of tourism and hospitality training courses.
It is also the responsibility of the Quality Assurance department to design the implementation of the QMS, setting a process-based approach. Periodic internal quality audits are conducted throughout the organisation. Results of these audits are used to improve processes and performance of individual departments.
